Yes. Most specialty lighting equipment, including moving head lights, gobos, and hazers, requires setup, programming, and operation by an Event Services technician to ensure safe operation and the best visual results.
A gobo is a custom stencil placed inside a lighting fixture to project an image, logo, monogram, or design onto a wall, floor, or backdrop. Gobos are a great way to personalize conferences, galas, weddings, and campus celebrations.
Yes. Event Services can assist with creating a custom gobo featuring your event logo, organization name, or other approved artwork. We recommend requesting custom gobos well in advance of your event to allow time for design and production.
Some lighting equipment can be used outdoors, depending on the event location, weather conditions, and power availability. Event Services will review your event plans and recommend appropriate equipment.
Yes. Many of our LED lighting fixtures can be programmed to display a wide range of colors, allowing us to complement your event theme, organizational branding, or UCCS colors whenever possible.
Yes. For events that include performances, entertainment, or multimedia presentations, Event Services can coordinate lighting cues with audio and video elements as part of the production planning process.
Some venues include standard lighting appropriate for meetings and presentations. Decorative, theatrical, or specialty lighting is available upon request and may incur additional charges. Contact Event Services to discuss your event needs and request a quote.
